AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting
The AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting also known as Advanced Diploma in Accounting, is the perfect course for you if you want to gain the skills required to become a financial team leader or set up your own accounting practice. In this course you will learn statements for limited companies and complex management accounting tasks. You will also learn budgeting, financial statements, financial performance and internal controls and accounting systems. You can specialise in personal and business tax, audit, credit control and cash management.
After successfully completing this course you will automatically become AAT affiliate member. This will help you qualify for AAT full professional membership if you have relevant work experience.
More information about the course
The duration of the course can range from 9 to 18 months depending on your methods of study – full or part time. We offer evening sessions (3 hours each) and day sessions (6 hours each) including weekends. The teaching hours do not include the final assessment.
Previous qualification and work experience are assessed before enrolment. You can do this course if you have level 3 or equivalent accounting/finance/business qualifications. It is advisable to have English language proficiency and a relevant level of math skills.
There are 6 units in this course. All units are assessed by Computer-Based Assessments (CBAs). The CBAs are flexible and can be taken at any time. We are an approved AAT CBAs centre, and offer a flexible CBAs service on weekdays, weekends and evenings.
You may be eligible for an exemption depending on your previous qualifications or relevant work experience. We carry out a pre-enrolment assessment to help you understand the exemptions criteria and recommend a right level of course for you.
