By joining Learning Pro or using our services, you as a learner/service user accept and agree to all our ‘Terms and Conditions.’ You must carefully read our Terms and Conditions before getting enrolled to any course or using any service offered by us. If you do not understand or agree with our Terms and Conditions, you are advised to contact to the Administrative Unit in our campus for further clarifications. You are advised to keep a copy of the T&Cs for future reference. The document is regularly updated, please contact the Administrative Unit to check if you have the current version of the document.

The key terms and conditions are listed below:

  1. Admission for a course

1.1 You inquire about the course prior to application. You can the access information about course and services we offer by contacting the admission department by making phone calls, emails or thorough various publications such as prospectus, leaflets and visiting our website. You also agree to our website visiting terms and conditions – the Privacy Policy.

1.2 You abide by our admission policy and procedure which is a separate document and can be obtained from the admission department.

1.3 You will provide us with your full personal, academic, employment and address details with documentary evidences such as a valid Passport/Driving Licence, Visa (if applicable), your educational certificates and addresses proof. We also reserve the rights to request for any other documentary evidence deemed required.

1.4 You fill in the Application Form (Online or paper-based, whichever appropriate) and provide us with all the information asked.

  1. Exam Booking

2.1 Learning Pro is a Computer Based Exam/Assessment (CBE/A) centre for AATACCA and CIMA under Pearson Vue Testing Centre (PVTC).

2.2   The CBE/A can be booked by phone, email and on our website. Any booking is not confirmed unless the fee is paid and amount is clear in Learning Pro account. Or otherwise agreed with Learning Pro.

2.3   The payment can be made by BACS or telephone. If you want to pay over telephone, please call us during office hours to pay the fees. We accept all major UK only cards. If you like to pay by BACS, please advise us, and we will email you the invoice. Your booking will only be confirmed once the fees is paid.

2.4   The fee paid is non-refundable and non-transferable. However, you can request at least 24 business hours prior to your exams/assessments day by email to change/extend your exam dates and times. The extension/change of exam dates and times may be granted by Learning Pro on its discretion and availability of slots.

2.5   Any exam booking is not conformed unless full information including the copies of 2 ID proof are provided by email and the fees is paid.

2.6   Candidates are advised to report to exam centre at least 15 minutes prior to the exam/assessment time along with the original proof of 2 IDs.

2.7   Learning Pro endeavour to offer smooth and stress-free exam/assessment environment to all its candidates. However, due to its nature and IT system involvement, exam/assessment may be postponed. The centre will try to inform you as early as possible and offer options to take your test on any other agreed dates.

2.8   Learning Pro do not charge for changing the exam dates and times provided an appropriate notice period is given as specified in section 2.4. However, the date and time change can only be granted, even with 24 business hours notice window, up to 2 times. It means, you can change your date and time of a CBE 2 times after the first confirmed booking. For requesting change of exam date and time, section 2.4 must be followed. If you change more than 2 times, an admin fees of £25 per change will be charged on and after 3rd change.

  1. Fees and payment

3.1 Check our website or prospectus or contact Administration Unit for fees details. Fee may differs according to the student status such as pervious students, bulk booking of units and personal circumstances of a learner.

3.2 Promotional fee may also be published on the promotional materials such as website, prospectus, leaflets and brochures, it is valid only until the time specified and CAN NOT be referred after its expiry date.

3.3 All fee is subject to change, please check our website for accurate fee information. Unless full fee is paid for the entire course (fee for more than one unit or entire course), current fee structure will be applicable.

3.4 Sponsorship may be available for students depending upon the students’ abilities. Unless agreed, full fee will be applicable.

3.5 In order to book a place for a desired course, full or at least 50% deposit is required which is NON-REFUNDABLE except in the situation described in the Refund Policy. Please check the policy separately for further information.

3.6 All tuition fee MUST be paid in prior to the course commencement date, which can be found on enrolment letter. A candidate may NOT be allowed to enter the classroom on the commencement date unless payment is made.

3.7 Learners offered more than a year course and have paid only one year full fee at the time of enrolment, need to pay the second or third year (whichever applicable) before starting the second or third year of course.

3.8 In case of any instalment plan is agreed between a learner and Learning Pro, it MUST be adhered to the plan. In case of non-adherence to the payment plan, Learning Pro may charge 10% extra per month on the agreed instalment plan.

3.9 In case of non-adherence to the fees and payments plan, Learning Pro will withdraw the service offer.

3.10 Learning Pro may also involve a professional body to recover the unpaid fee, and pass your personal information to the relevant body.

  1. Refund Policy

4.1 As described in section 3.5 of this document, all fee (tuition, exams or any service) is NON-REFUNDABLE, unless the centre is unable to offer the course/service you applied or requested for and the centre agreed with.

4.2 If you are not satisfied with the teaching and learning and service offered by Learning Pro, an academic appeal form or complaint form can be used. Learning Pro has a fair and transparent appeal and complaint procedures which ensure that your voice is heard and a fair decision is made.

4.3 In case of the centres’ inability to offer satisfactory services, partial fee can be refunded deducting the administrative fee and your time spent at the centre. Any claim for refund MUST be made within 15 days of service received.

4.4 Administrative fee will NOT be refunded.

  1. Audio-visual

5.1 As part of our teaching and learning process, there will be a variety of academic, social and cultural events organised in or off the campus. Such events will be captured in audio-visual (video, audio and still photographs) forms. The audio-visual items can be used for teaching and learning or marketing purposes. This means, your photo, video and audio may be used in college website, prospectus and marketing materials. If you disagree to this section, you can formally request the Administration Unit by filling in the “disagreement form”. The form can be obtained from the Administrative Unit.

  1. Public Information

6.1 Information about us and the services we offer, will be published by various mean of communication mediums. This includes, but not limited to, our website, prospectus, student handbook, induction pack, leaflets and posters.

6.2 Learning Pro makes all efforts to publish the information about its courses and service related information as humanly accurate and reliable as possible.

6.4 Since the information about courses, units, entry requirements, fee, assessment methods are regularly updated by the relevant awarding organisations, Learning Pro holds no responsibility of inaccuracy on such matter. In case you encounter any inaccuracy in such information, let us know immediately and the centre will verify it with the concerned awarding organisations and update on the public information channel.

  1. Communication

7.1 All communication between Learning Pro and its clients will be undertaken by emails, telephone/mobile, text messages and letter posts.

7.2 Learning Pro holds no liability of any lost or damage of the communication channels and mediums.

7.3 It is the learners’ sole responsibility to confirm and verify the accuracy and reliability of information/communication by contacting the Administration Unit of the centre.

7.4 Any communication can be made by above-said mediums directly to the Administration unit of Learning Pro.

  1. Changes

8.1 Learning Pro reserves the right to change courses, its units, methods of teaching, teaching/lecture location, lecturer/tutor published before on its discretion. However, the centre will inform to all its relevant learners prior to changes wherever appropriate.

8.2 All the policies are subject to review and changes on a periodic basis, check their relevance with the Administration Unit before referring them.

8.3 Learners MUST notify Learning Pro immediately of any changes they make. This include, but not limited to, the address details, telephone/mobile contact number, correspondence address change in any of their next of kin, references and emergency contacts.

8.4 Learners MUST also inform Learning Pro for non-attendance of any lecture.

  1. Privacy

9.1 Under the Data Protection Act (1998), the centre do not share any of your information with any third party for marketing and business purposes. However, it may share your information, whenever asked, with any government authority in the United Kingdom, relevant awarding organisation/s you study or studied with. Please see our Privacy Policy separately for more details.
